Dear St. Nick’s Kingsway family,
Autumn is in full swing, and as the trees shed their leaves, we are reminded of the beauty in letting go and making room for new growth. This week’s Gospel, Matthew 22:1-14, tells the parable of the wedding banquet—an invitation to all, regardless of status or background, to join in God’s kingdom. As we reflect on this message, I invite us to think about how St. Nick’s can continue to extend our own invitation of welcome and belonging to the community of East Didsbury and Burnage.
Our church is not just a building; it’s a home for creativity, a space for community, and a place of compassion. Together, let’s embrace this season of change and continue living out our vision in new and inspiring ways.
May this autumn remind us of the joy in gathering, sharing, and creating something beautiful together.
