Welcome to St. Nick’s for Remembrance Sunday on 10th November
Dear St. Nick’s Kingsway Family
Last Sunday, we gathered with grateful hearts for a Service of Glad Remembrance, honoring those who have gone before us and celebrating the enduring hope we have in Christ. It was a touching reminder of the saints whose lives have shaped our journey, and I’m grateful for the moments we shared in reflection and thanksgiving.
This coming Sunday, we’ll shift our focus to Remembrance Sunday, a solemn day to honour the sacrifices made by so many in the service of peace. Together, we will reflect on our call to be peacemakers, holding in our prayers all who have served and continue to serve.
As we approach a significant moment in the USA with the election of a new President, I ask for your prayers for my homeland. Like many, I feel the weight of these uncertain times, and I find comfort in knowing that we, as a community, stand firm in our foundation in Christ, trusting in his guidance and steadfast love.
Let us continue in faith, rooted in hope and compassion.
With every blessing,
Augustine
